All you have to do is click on the email (or mail from the internal mailbox), then click on the ad. You can go to a new window or tab while you wait. Go back to the window after a few (maybe 1-2 mins) and you'll see you were credited.
It's 2 cents per email, but it really starts to add up over time! If you can get referrals... that's also a a great way to add to your account.
They also have an affiliate program... but I haven't even read that webpage yet.
